Fifteen-year-old Antonia Cambre is an inspired and dedicated cellist who has been playing for eleven years. She has performed as part of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and as Principal Cellist of the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra. Antonia enjoys performing in a variety of other settings, from chamber ensembles to pit band. Most recently, Antonia was fortunate enough to perform on national TV at the memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh. She is a winner of the Don Banks 2019 music awards, and numerous Kingsway Conservatory of Music merit scholarships. Outside of her cello studies, Antonia enjoys singing, reading, swimming, graphic design, rollerblading and playing with her pets. Antonia is honoured to be a part of the Sweetwater festival this year and hopes you enjoy the show!
