An Update for Our SweetWater Friends Regarding COVID-19

                                              April 7, 2020

We wanted to keep you updated about what’s happening on the SweetWater front as we all deal with the current impact of COVID-19 and physical distancing.

First, we are changing some of our planned spring events including postponing SweetWater Jazz IV and the Next Wave Showcase. The good news is that we are now working on some exciting, new plans over the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details soon!

We can’t wait for our September Festival (September 18 – 20). Work continues as we prepare for our 17th Festival and we look forward to celebrating it with all of you. We’ll keep you in the loop about what’s planned. It’s going to be great!

As always, your ongoing support of SweetWater is so important to make the music come alive. Many performers have been affected significantly by the current situation. SweetWater wants to do our part to provide opportunities for musicians over the months ahead. Your donations to SweetWater will be a big part of making this happen. Remember, you can always DONATE ONLINE. Thank you.

SweetWater’s Board of Directors, staff, and committees will continue to meet and work over the coming weeks using an online meeting format. Plus, the 2020 SweetWater Annual General Meeting is now scheduled to take place on June 18. More details about time and format to follow.

Watch for updates regularly via our web site, social media links, and e-news, SweetWater Notes.

Finally, please stay safe and healthy. If we do our part now, we can all enjoy the music together soon.

All the best,

From the Board and Staff of the SweetWater Music Festival
